Bio

Matt is a Senior Software Architect at Analytical Graphics, Inc., where he helped start Cesium, an open-source JavaScript library for creating web-based 3D globes and 2D maps.

Matt currently leads the development of a to-be-named-later Cesium content and data processing server, which will make it easy for users to upload raw terrain, models, and vector data and interactively create customized mapping applications via the upcoming 3D Tiles specification. Matt is also a WebGL Insights contributing author and co-wrote the chapter “Getting Serious with JavaScript” with Kevin Ring and the inventor of CZML, a JSON schema for time-dynamic geospatial visualization.
